Tori, from Starkville, called me - her mostly inside kitty was stuck in a tree, help! Tori was only 10 minutes away so I was at her house shortly. 'Minu' was 30 feet up an oak tree, sitting in the first available union. Tori said that Minu was very skittish, which did not bode well for a successful rescue. Tori agreed to be hauled up into the tree once I got a rope set, hopefully this would reduce the chances of Minu running/jumping/falling. I shot a throw bag over a union at 40 feet, but when it came back down, the string touched Minu's back. We tried to get the string away from Minu, but this scared Minu, and she tried to climb down the tree. Minu fell, hit the ground with a thud, and rocketed inside the house. Tori followed, but came out saying that she was taking Minu to the Vet because she was bleeding from the nose. Fortunately, it turned out to be just a bloody nose and Minu was ok. Minu - STAY IN THE HOUSE!
