CC iN A TREE

Executive Summary

On a Thursday night I received a text from Amanda about her family kitty 'CC', who had been stuck in a tree for four days in Pontotoc MS. She kept hoping CC would come down, but no luck, and the entire family was sad -- could I help? I said yes, and arrived the next morning. CC was about 25 feet up, just out of reach of a long extension ladder propped against the tree. CC was crying loudly, hoping for a rescue. I quickly set a line, and was soon at height with CC. She had retreated out on a limb during rope setup, but came right to me for the nab-N-bag. Back on the ground, CC was taken inside by Amanda for food and water. CC is supposed to be an inside kitty, but has a bad habit of escaping outdoors - hopefully she will stay out of trees on her next outdoor escape!
