I received a voice mail from Jessey of Decatur AL at about 10:00 pm on a Friday night, her kitty was stuck up a tree and high winds, rain, and snow were predicted that night. I replied via text and said I would be out as early as possible the next morning. There were 2-3 inches of snow overnight, but the roads were clear, so I was the house by 7:45 am. Jessey, and her Mom Mellissa, were waiting in the 26 degree cold, and led me to a tree out back. A 30 foot ladder was propped against the trunk, and "Freya" was in a large union 10 feet higher. I put a rope above Freya, climbed the ladder and then the rope, and was soon at height with Freya. She let me Nab-N-Bag her without fuss, clearly she wanted inside! Back on the ground, Jessey took Freya inside for food, water and warmth. Jessey, many thanks for your extremely generous contribution to Lovable Feline Rescue of North Alabama!
