"Scarlett" Is Sad

(mid May 2023)

Executive Summary

Diane contacted me about their kitty "Scarlett", who had been stuck up a tree for two days in Northeast Huntsville.  I arrived late that afternoon and was met by Diane, her husband Jason, and two sons.  They led me across the road to a wooded area where Scarlett was hanging out at about 25 feet, crying for a rescue. I established a rope in the tree and was soon at height with Scarlett. She about about 8 feet up and out on a limb, rubbing her head in a friendly way but too scared to come closer.  Diane suggested wet cat food, and when I popped the top that immediately got her attention. It took awhile but Scarlett eventually came down for the yummy cat food, and accepted some scritches. After an easy grab-N-bag, Scarlett was soon back on the ground with her family. Diane and Jason, many thanks for your generous donation to Loveable Feline Rescue of North Alabama!
