"LUNA" is Stuck Again

Cassie from Toney AL texted me - the little black void known as 'Luna' got the zoomies and was stuck again. In.The.Same.Tree. But at the top this time. I knew from the previous rescue that I would not be able to climb the spindly tree to the top, but fortunately there was a huge pine tree right next to it.  Issac met me on arrival and we went to the back yard. Luna was running around the top branches  of the little hardwood at about 30  ft, crying loudly for a rescue. I climbed the neighboring pine tree, and used my trusty extendable boat hook to place my climbing hook in Luna's tree. I was then able to pull the tree over within grabbing reach. As before, Luna went into the bag with no complaints  and was soon back on the ground and safely inside.  On the drive home, I munched on Cassie's  chocolate chip cookies that she gave me -- yummy! Cassie and Issac are trying to train Luna on how  to climb down by using a leash and harness but she is being stubborn  - keep trying, she will get it!
