"Sophie" IS Stuck

Executive Summary

Sessums, for whom I had rescued 'Rambo' last month, contacted me. A kitty ("Sophie") owned by his finance, Hannah, was stuck in a tree in Preston MS, could I help? I said yes and arrived at Hannah's house later that afternoon. Hannah said that Sophie had been stuck for three nights, including during a massive storm system that had moved through the state. Sophie was only about 30 feet up a pine tree but would not come down. It was easy to set a line in the tree, and I was soon at height with Sophie, who was glad to see me. Sophie was soon back on the ground with Hannah, who told me that her mom had raised him from a barn litter. It had been assumed that Sophie was female until a recent Vet visit where it was discovered that he was male. His name may change in the future, but nothing changes the fact that he is a super sweet kitty. Hannah, many thanks for your generous donation to the Oktibbeha County Humane Society! As per the times that we live in, all maintained proper social distancing during the rescue!
