"Junkyard" in a Skinny Tree

Executive Summary

Gary contacted me about "Junkyard", a young kitty who had escaped outside and had been stuck 50 feet up a hardwood tree for four nights in Batesville MS. Junkyard could not find his way down, and weathered a severe storm line that passed through. Junkyard was crying piteously when I arrived, making it easy to spot him in the tree. During the rescue, the wind blew the treetop back and forth, causing both of us to hang on with all fingers and claws. However, Junkyard made the rescue easy by being sweet and cooperative. I hope that Junkyard stays out of trees in the future!
