"Jack" - An Easy Rescue

Executive Summary

I love easy rescues of sweet kitties, and this qualifies high on the 'easy' and 'sweet' scales. Sherry from Eupora called me, her 6 month old kitty 'Jack' had been stuck overnight in a tree, could I help? I went out that afternoon, and Sherry led me to a tree out next to the road. Jack was hanging out at about 25 feet, and crying for help. I put a line in the tree and was soon at height with Jack, who greeted me with head bumps and purring. After a quick Nab-N-Bag, I descended and handed off Jack to Sherry, who took him to the house for food and water. Sherry was unsure what caused Jack to go up the tree; hopefully that will not occur again any time soon. Sherry, many thanks for your generous donation to the Oktibbeha County Humane Society!
