Tomatoes

Tomatoes (mixed varieties)
Salt
Sterilize quart jars (boil for 3 minutes).
Peel tomatoes by putting in boiling water for 2 minutes. Take out and skin. Chop and pack tightly in jars. Add 1 tsp of salt to each jar. Put on lids and rims for each jar (make sure to put lids into boiling water first).
Boil in water bath canner for 35 minutes.
