Pepperoni Pasta Casserole
Modified from Pillsbury
12 oz uncooked spaghetti
1 pkg (1 lb) sausage (I used caribou or moose)
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 pepper, diced (I use my own)
1 clove garlic, minced
2 oz pepperoni, diced (they used turkey, I used caribou)
1 jar (26 oz) tomato and basil pasta sauce
1/4 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 pkg (8 oz) shredded Italian cheese blend
Heat oven to 350. Spray a 13 by 9 pan.
Cook spaghetti, according to package directions. Drain well.
At same time, brown sausage until no longer pink. (If you are using pork, drain at this point.) Add in veggies and cook until tender. Add in pepperoni and cook for a few more minutes.
Now they had a fancy layering system. I just dumped the meat and pasta sauce on noodles and mixed and then spread it all in the casserole dish.
Sprinkle cheese over top. Cover with foil.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, and bake 10 more minutes.
Makes 10 servings.
