Rye Bread

Modified from my bread machine manual

***Recommend bread machine use, but you could do this by hand if you wanted to***

1 1/2 cups water

1 tbsp butter, softened

3 cups bread flour (I do try to use bread flour if I have it)

1 1/4 cups rye flour (this said medium, my store just had dark, but I do plan to try to find some medium as I think it may make it rise better)

2 tbsp dry milk

1 1/2 tbsp sugar

1 1/2 tsp salt

2 tsp caraway seeds

2 1/4 tsp yeast

Put into bread maker in order recommended by manufacturer.

Use basic setting on your bread maker. This makes a 2 lb loaf.
