Garlic Cheddar Beer Bread

3 cups flour

2 1/2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1 cup shredded cheese

12 oz beer

3 tbsp melted butter

Preheat to 350 and grease loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and garlic powder. Stir to combine. Stir in shredded cheese. Make a well. Pour in beer and stir until no flour streaks remain.

Add half of melted butter to bottom of loan pan and tilt around to coat it. Pour in batter. Pour rest of melted butter over top and brush it around.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.

You can make a topping that I didn't bother to.
