Applesauce

4 lbs of apples (I just filled my instant pot to the fill line and it was about 4 lbs)

1/2 cup water (or apple juice)

3 tbsp brown sugar


Wash your apples. Cut out core - you don't need to peel! Cut into 2 inch chunks. So we had tiny apples (they were home grown) so this wasn't an issue, but if you use the large store bough ones, you'd need to.

Place apples in inner pot of instant pot. Pour in water or juice. Close lid and cook on high pressure for 12 minutes.

Once cook time is up, let pressure release naturally for at least 15 minutes before releasing rest of pressure.

Then use immersion blender to make smooth.
