Onion Rings

Modified from The Spruce Eats

2 large sweet onions

3/4 cup flour

2 eggs

2 tbsp milk

2 cups panko breadcrumbs

1 tsp smoked paprika (I used regular)

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp salt

Slice the onions into thick rings. Separate them into rings, setting aside the smallest ones to use elsewhere.

Make three dredging bowls. One with flour, one with eggs and milk and one with panko breadcrumbs. Split the seasonings between the two dry ones (they said all three, I just did the two). Mix each bowl.

Dip the onion rings in the flour, then egg mixture and finally panko. Make sure to thoroughly coat.

Spray the inside of the air fryer with cooking spray. Carefully place a single layer of onion rings into the air fryer and then spray with more cooking spray. Cook on 375 (mine does 370 or 380 so I alternated) for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
