Fantasy Fudge

From back of marshmallow creme jar

3/4 cup butter

3 cups sugar

2/3 cup evaporated milk [which is a 5 oz can if you can actually find that]

1 pkg (12 oz) chocolate chips [they used squares you have to break up - way too much work!]

1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme

1 cups nuts (optional)

1 tsp vanilla [you can substitute 1 tsp of peppermint extract here to make Mint Fudge...I got this idea from Fleece Navidad by Maggie Sefton]

Mix butter,, sugar and milk in saucepan. Bring to full boil and then boil for 5 minutes on medium heat. You need your candy thermometer to read 234. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chips and marshmallow creme until melted. Add rest and mix. Put in pans, cool and then cut.
