Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches

Modified from Pillsbury's Slow Cooker

****Needs a Crock Pot****

2 tbsp butter, melted

4 medium onions, sliced

2 lb boneless beef round steak, trimmed and diced

4 tsp garlic-pepper blend

1/2 tsp salt

2 large green bell peppers, diced

1/2 cup water

2 tsp beef-flavor instant bouillon (or 2 cubes)

4-6 hoagie rolls

provolone or pepper jack cheese (I like pepper jack best!)

Combine butter and onions; mix to coat. Sprinkle beef with garlic-pepper blend and salt.

In crock pot, layer half of onions, all of beef and pepper. Trop with remaining onions. In measuring cup, combing water and bouillon, stir until dissolved. Pour over mixture in slow cooker. Cover and cook and low for 6-8 hours.

About 10 minutes before serving, put buns on cookie sheet. With slotted spoon, place the beef mixture on the buns and trop with cheese. Broil until cheese melts.

Makes 4-6 servings.
