Chai Tea Mix

I made this from a base recipe for a chai tea mix to taste like the Chai tea mix that I liked from Tastefully Simple, but couldn't buy around here (plus I'm cheap and chai tea mix is expensive...)

1 cup dry milk powder

1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer (coffee creamer)

1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-diary creamer (I usually use the sugar-free option, but sometimes will mix up the regular and sugar free as well)

2 tsp ground ginger (I buy all these in bulk containers)

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp ground cardamom

1 tsp allspice

Black tea bags (I use just plain British blend or chai or whatever I feel like)

You are making a large batch of chai tea mix that you can use over time.  In a large bowl combine all the ingredients except the tea bags.  In a blender or food processor, blend the mixture in increments until the mixture is the consistency of fine powder.  I usually make this X7 at a time in a huge Tupperware.  Store powder in a sealed container until you need it.

Now to serve the chai.  Make the tea bag according to the directions.  Add 2-3 heaping spoonfuls of chai tea mix to your cup and drink. (This is really to your taste and how big your cup is...)

Makes about 3 dozen servings (I haven't actually counted...the original recipe I started with made 36, but I added/subtracted ingredients so I'm not entirely sure).
