BBQ Bacon Cheddar Sliders

Modified from Pampered Chef

2 lbs hamburger (I used moose)

2/3 cup bacon, crumbled

2/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

4 tbsp barbecue sauce (they had extra for topping, I did use some, but it wasn't really necessary and Ray didn't use any and he usually a big sauce guy)

1 cup French fried onions, crumbled (they had extras which I didn't use...now I did use these as I had some, but I might just use regular onions in the future, making sure to dice them finely)

12 slider buns

dill pickles (Ray used, I didn't)

Heat up your grill. Spray grill basket with cooking spray (we used the PC meatball and slider basket).

Combine meat, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce and mix gently. Form into 12 sliders (I got 13...they actually used less meat, but I hate when you use half a pack of anything). They also pressed the onions into the bottom...I just mixed in. Place into basket (this worked really well).

Place basket on grill and cook, covered, for 8-10 minutes or until done.

Serve on buns, with pickles if you want, and extra onions and BBQ sauce.

Makes 12 sliders.
