A bright, chilly but very pleasant day greeted Howard, Derek, Patrick, Terry, John and a rider new to the group, Kevin. As it hadn't rained all that much it was decided to chance the track alongside Mucklin Wood and then ride out through Swithland and Bradgate Park to the Jade Tea Rooms in Newton Linford. After some excellent warm drinks and cake the riders returned via Rothley and Quorn.
