The first ride of 2013 was greeted with a beautiful sunny but cold morning. Since we had gone south for the last few weeks it was decided to head north up the Soar Valley and then across to East Leake, taking Hungary Lane up from Sutton Bonnington. The five riders, Sean, Patrick, Stuart, Ray and John, found their normal tea place in East Leake shut for redecoration, but found tempting fare in the Birds shop next door.

After refreshment, Stuart returned direct home (having had some wheel problems) while the remaining riders made their way back to Loughborough.
