An overcast day with a light westerly wind saw an good turnout of Jas, Kevin, Jim, Clyde, Terry, Patrick, Howard and John. As it had been fairly dry for some time it was decided to venture past Mucklin Wood to Beaumanor and thence to Swithland, Rothley and onwards to the Chuch Hall at Birstall for the excellent refreshments that ladies lay on there. The riders returned through Watemead Park, Cossington, Sileby, Mountsorrel and Quorn, being back in Loughborough just after noon.
