A rather cool and overcast mid summer day awaited Patrick, Anne, Terry, Ray, Derek and John resulting in some riders adding clothing after they set out. It was decided to head for Manor Farm at Long Whatton taking the route up alongside the Epinal Way and then the A6 to Hathern. The riders arrive just as some new catering equipment was being delivered to the first floor tea room which is being re-equipped. After refreshments Ray returned by the direct route to catch David Cameron's last "Prime Minister's Questions" while the remaining riders went west and took Smithy Lane to Shepshed and thence across Garendon Park back to Loughborough.
