Terry, Clive and Graham after climb to Ulverscroft.

Four of us, Graham, Clyde, Terry and myself ventured out today, destination; Ulverscroft Grange Tea Rooms. Never realised there was so much uphill. Total ascent for the ride amounted to over 500 m. (1,640ft) and most of that was just getting there. Anne met up with at the tea stop. As luck would have it, we were able to view the Model Railway at Ulverscroft, though this may have delayed our departure slightly. The (in the main) downhill return journey meant we were able to get back to Loughborough fairly rapidly and we arrived back a little time after 12 noon. Total ride approximately 30k. (18-19 miles).
