On a rather grey and damp morning four intrepid riders set out for the wilds of Mountsorrel and the Butter Market Cafe - Penny's. The rain had been increasing in intensity so tea and tea cakes were consumed in a very leisurely manner, in the hope that the rain clouds would pass. Eventually we decided that we needed to make a move for home and caped up before heading off taking Slash Lane towards Barrow. Of course, having caped up, the sun came out as we got to Slash Lane and we stopped at "Ellis and Sons" building to remove our waterproofs.

The journey home was interrupted when Ray's rear wheel moved in the frame and started rubbing. A quick stop and the wielding of a spanner soon solved the problem.
