It was a cold murky morning when Patrick, Derek and Ray assembled at Outwoods Drive for their ride. It was decided to try East Leake for it hadn't been visited for some time. So, it was through Loughborough Market Place, Meadow Lane and up the steep hill at Stanford on Soar. Then onward to Sutton Bonington and another pull up the hill. It was a nervous ride through West Leake in view of the recently cut hedges and thorns on the road. Fortunately, there were no punctures and the cafe in East Leake was a welcome sight. After tea, coffee and toasted teacakes it was back to Loughborough by the direct route past Stanford Hall.
