Ray, John and Patrick were joined by a new rider to the group, Laurie. With mild but overcast weather at the start and a good forecast it was decide to go to one of our furthest tea stops, Birstall Methodist Church, which was reached via the old A6 wending through Birstall. After tea the riders returned through Watemead Park taking advantage of the relatively new Connect2 route to Cossington.
