A mild day with watery winter sunshine greeted Patrick, Clyde, Howard, Lynn, Terry, Anne, Eric and John. The wind was forecast to build from the south and, as it was good weather for December, it was decided to be a little ambitious and head for the Methodist Church Hall in Birstall. The riders headed out past Mucklin Wood, through Woodhouse, Swithland and Rothley arriving in Birstall just before 11am. After partaking of the excellent value tea, coffee and cakes on offer the group returned via Watermead Park, Cossington, Sileby and Mount Sorrel.
