A sunny but cool morning was the setting for a ride out over Garendon Park, through Shepshed a slow climb into Charnwood Forest to Lubcloud Farm for refreshments. On leaving the tea room the riders encountered a small flock of geese that soon departed. Ray too the direct route back to Loughborough, while John, Terry and Howard returned via Beacon Hill and Mucklin Wood.
