Ray, Keith, Patrick and Terry assembled at the Outwoods Road roundabout on a very pleasant sunny morning. Rain had been forecast for later in the day. The destination for the coffee stop was East leake. Ray had arranged for Derek to meet us there. The route took us down Park Road, through Loughborough town centre, Church Gate and Meadow Lane. Up the steep hill to Normantan and Sutton Bonnington. Ray spotted John Wiiliams,an old cycling friend, in his garden so Keith and Ray had a brief chat. Further along the road it was a right turn along Quiet Road to reach West Leake and East Leake. There was Derek to meet us. After an enjoyable leisurely coffee break it was back to Loughborough on the direct route along Meadow Lane.
