A generally bright but cool and blustery August day awaited Terry, Anne, Howard, John and new rider Jerry. As all were feeling reasonably fit it was decided to be a bit ambitious and go to the highest tea room in range, the Grange Tea Rooms at Ulverscroft. After a few pauses for recuperation at the top of hills the riders partook of refreshments enjoying views down across Charnwood Forest. As none were in a particular hurry to get back, the riders returned via Newtown Linford and Bradgate Park.
