A cool but sunny morning saw Clyde, Graham, Phil, Eric (with a new rear wheel), Rob, Patrick, Rosalind, Lynn, John and Terry gather at Outwoods Drive roundabout. As the breeze was from the north east it was decided to go upwind through the University and then via the cycle route alongside the Black Brook and then tho Hathern, where a short tour of the village was incorporated in order to avoid the main road. After a rather less pleasant section of the ride along the A6006 through Zouch, the riders carried on north through Sutton Bonnington, Kingston of Soar before turning into West Leake Lane to make their way to refreshments at the Chefs Cafe in East Leake. After a pleasant sojourn at the tables outside the cafe, the riders took the direct route back to Loughborough via Stanford on Soar.
