A dull mild but dry morning provided the setting for this week's ride. Terry, Anne, John, Ray, Patrick & Howard initially considered heading for Rothley Station, but on learning that the Teddy Bear trains were running and a small fair operating in the station car park, it was decided that faster service would be obtained from Manor Farm in Long Whatton. The ride was uneventful, taking a circular route via Stanford on Soar and Fox Hill to Long Whatton returning via Shepshed. At Shepshed Ray decided to take the direct route home while the other riders wended their way across Garendon Park.
