A beautiful summer's day awaited Patrick, Terry, Ray, Howard and John. It was decided that alfresco refreshments would be welcome and the riders headed down the old A6 to Quorn and then across the Slabs footpath to Barrow Upon Soar and the Boatyard. After refreshment Ray returned direct to Loughborough while the other riders headed east along Paudy Lane into the Wolds, returning via Walton on the Wolds, Cotes and Meadow Lane.
