A very cold but bright morning caused all the riders to wrap up well. Howard, Graham, Terry, Patrick, Ray, Lynn, Eric and John decided to head down the old A6 for an early refreshment stop at Daisy's Tea room in Rothley to warm up. Having refreshed the rider carried on through Rothley, where Ray left them to take a direct route home, to Swithland and then Woodhouse before returning to Loughborough taking the track past Mucklin Wood.
