Three riders set out on a typical April morning - sunshine with cloud building and showers forecast for the afternoon. Ray, Peter and John made their way to the tea stop at Peppercorns of Barrow via the track to Beaumanor Hall and Quorn. Clyde turned up when we arrived at Barrow apparently out on a "training run" and did not dally for tea.
After a sojourn in the tea shop the triplet of riders set off back to Loughborough via Cotes and Meadow Lane, passing a group of riders out on a training run and going at least 3 times as fast as us in the opposite direction.
