Not having been to Rothley Station for many months and with the wind in the south west, Terry, Patrick, Anne, Lynn, Chris, Graham, Clyde, Kevin, Derek & John decided to head for Ellis Tea Room. After the heavy rain the track past Mucklin Wood was reported to be very muddy and the riders therefore headed for Quorn and then took the right turn into Woodhouse Road wending their way to coffee via Swithland and taking Reservoir Road across Cropston Reservoir Dam. The weather being reasonably mild, refreshment was taken outdoors. The riders then returned via the Ridgeway and Wood Lane through Quorn.
