A bright frosty morning greeted the five riders and, bearing in mind the recent heavy rain and frost, it was decided to keep to familiar tarmac and head for Cossington. Chris, Sean, Patrick, John and Ray had an incident free ride in bright sunshine to Goscote Nurseries where generous quantities of tea and coffee, along with some toasted tea cakes, were consumed. The riders returned via Sileby and Barrow, having had a very pleasant ride marred a little for some by very cold feet. The local bicycle shops may find that they have a run on neoprene overshoes.
