Six riders who gathered at Outwoods Drive on a bitterly cold and overcast morning. As it was icy it was decided to stick to the old A6 and proceed with care to Daisy's Tea Room in Rothley. All the riders had very cold and numb fingers and feet by the time they had cautiously made their way to the tea stop in below freezing temperatures. Unfortunately the heating system at the tea room was giving problems, but even if the temperature wasn't as high as normal, the welcome was warm. The shelter and refreshments were very welcome, allowing Ray, Chris, Peter, Andrew, Sean and John to thaw out. After a longer than normal refuelling stop, the riders made their way back across Charnwood Forest via Swithland, Woodhouse and Quorn.
