This rather fresh but pleasant autumn day brought out two new riders, John and Alison, together with Peter, who we had not seen out for some time, and the regulars John, Patrick and Howard. It was decided to go upwind and take in hills that were not too steep and head out along the Salt Way to the Race Hub Cafe at Six Hills. After refreshments the riders enjoyed a rapid return to Barrow with a tail wind and mainly downhill.
