The sky was a little overcast when Derek, Terry, Patrick, Ray, Peter and John met at Outwoods Drive. It was decided to brave the tracks round Mucklin Wood and Swithland Reservoir which proved to be in quite good condition with little mud. The riders enjoyed increasing sunshine, enhancing the late autumn colours, as the ride proceeded with refreshment obtained at Stonehurst Farm. The riders were back in Loughborough by noon.
