Wednesday 5th November 2014

Ray, Terry, Anne, Patrick, Howard Jerry and Derek assembled at Outwood Drive on a beautiful crisp sunny morning. The route took them on the track to Beaumanor Hall and left to Quorn. On to Mountsorrel and left to Sileby. Then it was a leisurely break in the tearoom in the main street. After the refreshments it was a climb with a headwind up to Seagrave. A left turn took them on a very pleasant undulating road to the turn to Barrow upon Soar. Then it was downhill for two miles to arrive in Barrow by the railway station. Then back to Loughborough via Ling Road (after negotiating across some thorny hedge cuttings at the One Ash roundabout!)
