Patrick and Terry near top of climb to Lea Lane

A bright but crisp autumn morning saw John, Patrick and Terry gather for the morning ride. As they were feeling reasonably fit they decided to attempt the hilly ride over Charnwood Forest to the tea room at Ulverscroft via Woodhouse Eaves and Priory Lane. After some very steep hills the riders enjoyed an excellent repast and views at the Ulverscroft Grange tea room which is run by the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation.

The riders had a much faster return to Loughborough, proceeding via Copt Oak and down Beacon Hill to Woodhouse, then past Mucklin Wood.
