Wednesday 6th September 2017

Today's ride, took us out of Loughborough along the route of the former railway line by the fire station. We then cycled alongside the A512 to Shepshed where we cut through on Cambridge St., Oxford St., and Ansow Rd to Tickow Lane. Charley Rd., to Oaks Rd., led us to St Joseph's Tearoom at Abbey Grange. At St Joseph's we had cakes, scones with cream and jam, egg and beans on toast, and even coffee, but not all of us all at once. Present were, Phil, Pat, Eric, Derek, Lynn, Graham, Rob and myself. Phil left us to go on to Coalville, whilst the rest of us returned via Beacon Hill, Pat went straight on and those of us left went through Mucklin Wood. Graham then led us back to Beacon Rd and Outwoods Drive. Today's route has been put on the routes page.
