A rather cold and dank February morning awaited Patrick, Ray, Terry, Howard and John. While it was cold, the wind was light, so it was decided to have quite a long ride out to Kegworth. The riders headed out through Loughborough, traversing the Market Place before the bewitching hour of 10am when cycling is no longer allowed, and taking Meadow Lane out to the east side of the Soar. After an uneventful ride through Stanford and Normanton on Soar, followed by Sutton Bonnington the riders arrived at the Coffee House in Kegworth (the first time they had visited this establishment) for refreshments. After their repast Ray returned via the cycle path alongside the A6 while the other riders took a more circuitous route via Kegworth Lane and Long Whatton.
