Howard, Terry, Ray and John decided that a short ride would be in order and headed for Cossington via Quorn & the "Slabs" path to Barrow, where a diversion from the direct route was taken along the canal. As Terry confessed to not having visited it before, it was decided to take coffee at the Green Place in Sileby.
