Ray, Patrick and Terry assembled at Outwoods Drive on an overcast morning. The route took them to Shepshed via Garendon estate. It was interesting that a van managed to meet them on the bridge over the motorway. Patrick put the driver right that there is no way through so the van reversed back. By this time it started to drizzle wtrh rain. It was agreed to proceed to Shepshed and ride along the disused railway track. Then onto a tea stop and back to Loughborough along the Ashby road cyclepath.
