A blustery grey day with the rain starting just as we gathered. We had a wet ride out over Garendon Park encountering the new gates at the end of Coe Avenue. Whilst we, and no doubt most motorcyclists, could negotiate it, this would appear to be an impenetrable barrier for tricycles and wheel chairs.

We were glad of the protection provided by the hedges as we progressed across the park arriving in Shepshed in heavy rain. We were glad to partake of the repast offered at Armstong's Mill. After a relaxing hot drink and a snack, we progressed back to Loughborough in the continuing rain down down Ashby Road.
