A bright spring day with the blackthorn blossom in much evidence encouraged Keith, Patrick, Derek, Howard and John to head out via Meadow Lane to the east side of the Soar valley. They then headed south to Walton on the Wolds and the hills to get to Seagrave. From Seagrave the riders dropped into Sileby and then south to Cossington for refreshments. The riders then returned via Sileby and Mountsorrel.
