Ray, Patrick, Chris and Stuart set off from Outwoods Drive on a crisp sunny morning towards Shepshed along the Ashby Road cyclepath. Then it was a left turn up the hill towards St Bernards Monastery. A pause at the top of the hill to admire the view and a photo opportunity. A turn left to cycle past Oaks In Charnwood Church for a coffee stop at the teashop near the monastery.
After a lengthy stop sitting outside in the sun it was time to say goodbye to Stuart who decided to leave the group to return home to Castle Donington via Belton. The others cycled back to
Loughborough via Nanpantan.
