It was a very pleasant sunny morning when the Wednesday Riders assembled at Outwoods Drive. It was suggested that there are some possible teashops in Rothley village that could suit the group. So Ray, Patrick, Howard, Terry and Derek set off in the Rothley direction via Mucklin Wood to Beaumanor, Woodhouse and Swithland (stopping to admire the snowdrops). Arriving in Rothley, the choice of cyclist type teashops was disappointing. Therefore, the group pressed on to the garden centre at Cossington where they were made welcome. After enjoying tea, coffee and toasted teacakes it was back to Loughborough via Sileby and Barrow upon Soar. A very enjoyable morning ride.
